Welcome to the Aw Lab

The Aw Lab, led by Dr Rochelle Aw, develops engineering biology platforms for next-generation biomanufacturing.

We combine Pichia engineering, cell-free protein synthesis and in vitro glycosylation to accelerate the production of biologics and other high-value biomolecules.

We are part of the Nottingham Engineering Biology Labs, the Biodiscovery Institute and the School of Life Sciences at the University of Nottingham.
